It has been confirmed that beloved actors Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson are returning to their iconic characters in the latest chapter of the Hunger Games film series, titled The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping. The project is now in the works.

Lawrence and Hutcherson are returning as Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark, the characters they made famous. Industry whispers indicate their roles will take the form of a future-set scene, as the original saga concluded with their characters married and with children.

• Ralph Fiennes is cast as a younger version of the menacing President Snow.

Meanwhile, Jennifer Lawrence has been nominated for a Golden Globe for the film Die My Love. Josh Hutcherson stars in the sequel to the successful franchise Five Nights at Freddy's 2.
